Clare County Council’s Arts Office will present Fiona Faulkes’ ‘Song and Dance’ exhibition at Clare Museum from January 12 through February 14, 2026.

‘Song and Dance’ Exhibition Visits Clare Museum

A dual national of Ireland and England, now living in Ennis, Fiona Faulkes works with oil paint, illustrating what she sees: landscapes, portraits, and how she feels, using both abstract and conceptual styles.

She is also a classical pianist and music weaves through her art, whether she is painting musicians, characters from operas, or her own manuscript. Fiona studied Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Drawing, Oxford University. After graduating, she participated in Open Studios with Haringey Arts Council which led to a solo show in Woodgreen, London.

Since moving to Ireland in 2005, she has shown her work in both the Sirius Arts Centre and Roaring Donkey Pub in Cobh, as well as in Cork Airport. She has exhibited paintings with Clare Arts in Scariff and Kilkee libraries, Clare Museum Art Space and on the Arts Trail. She has also displayed her work in White Strand, Miltown Malbay, Ennis Fringe Festival and The Bleeding Horse Pub in Dublin.
